Why Storm Dance?

  • Let us give you our best pitch! Established in 2019, Storm Dance has 18 State Championships and 6 National Championships, the most of any all-star team in the OKC area. Additionally, we've had 5 All-State Dancers, and multiple solo National Finalists including a National Champion Soloist in 2025 (YAY, FINLEY!). Beyond our awards and accomplishments, we pride ourselves in a work hard, play hard atmosphere. Dancers are pushed to be their very best as a dancer, and most importantly, as human beings. Our coaches love hard and demand the highest standard. (Read their bios below!)

  • We are affiliated with OKC Storm Athletics. As such, we are recognized as a Christian organization with occasional [optional] team Bible studies and team prayers. We welcome all dancers of different background, cultures, and religions.

What can you expect as a dancer on the 2025-2026 Storm Dance Team?

  • Choreography from national award-wining choreographers including Tribe 99 choreography. Strength and conditioning throughout the summer. Master classes from college coaches. Solo opportunities. The best friendships. A positive atmosphere. Dedication from ALL and so much FUN.

Official Tryouts
April 2nd-April 11th (Videos Due by Midnight)

Fast Pass Auditions

Prior to April 2nd, dancers may be granted a "Fast Pass Audition Certificate" for a fee of $5.

What is a fast pass audition certificate?

  • Dancers receiving this certificate will have the option to audition prior to April 2nd. Those dancers will follow the video requirements as listed below. Honestly, we encourage the use of the Fast Pass Certificate if your skills are borderline to our team requirements for making the team. We definitely want to ensure you find a team for you for the 25-26 season, and we encourage ALL options.

What else is required?

  • Dancers granted this certificate are still required to pay the Audition Fee of $50 prior to audition video submission and attend the mandatory parent meeting on April 2nd IF selected for the team. Additionally, fast pass certificate recipients (new dancers only) must also have 2 recommendation forms on file prior to video judging.

What is the importance of this?

  • Dancers are able to audition prior to our official team auditions and could be provided a roster spot before the official team is selected. This is especially important to those dancers who are also considering school teams or other all-star teams.

How can you select dancers without selecting the full team?

  • We have a very objective team selection process by following our required skills list. If you have those skills consistent, you will receive a roster spot. If you do not have those skills, we suggest continuing your training and trying again next season!
