We’ve been part of the OKC Storm Dance family for 5 years, and having our girls join the team has been one of the best decisions we’ve made.

I am beyond grateful for the impact Storm Dance has had on my girls, both as dancers and as individuals. Joining this team has been a transformative experience, teaching them not only the technical skills and artistry of dance but also invaluable life lessons in discipline, teamwork, and resilience. They’ve grown not only as dancers but as people and form lasting friendships along the way.
The coaches are dedicated and supportive, pushing dancers to reach limits they didn’t think possible. They help each dancer find joy, confidence, self-worth, and a sense of community. They build up, they do not tear down. We trust, and the coaches have shown they have the best interest not only of the team but your dancer, in each decision that is made. They understand each dancer is different and don’t try to fit your dancer into one mold, but work with them to be the best version of themselves and incorporate that into the team.

In our 5 years with Storm Dance, our girls have been part of 17 State Championship and 6 National Championship routines. But beyond the dance and competition, it’s the personal growth that stands out most. My girls have learned accountability, the importance of team over self, how to handle challenges with grace, face setbacks with determination, and celebrate victories with humility.

I’m incredibly thankful for Coach Jenna and Alicia and the role OKC Storm Dance has played in shaping my girls into the amazing individuals they are today.

Bliss, Class of '26
Our daughter has been a part of this incredible OKC Storm dance team for the past four years, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Not only has she grown into a strong, confident, and talented dancer, but she has also gained invaluable leadership skills and lifelong friendships along the way.

The dedication and passion of the coaches Jenna and Alicia are truly unmatched. They have poured countless hours into our girl and each have helped shape who she is! Their commitment to excellence has helped the team achieve multiple state championships and national titles, but more importantly, they have created an environment that
fosters growth, discipline, and teamwork. They push each dancer to reach their full potential while always maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere.

Being part of Storm has been a transformative experience for our daughter. We found Storm after a difficult dance experience and it has been a healing and growth-filled space for her! She has found the path she wants to take and wants to dance in college! We are beyond grateful for the opportunities and memories Storm has given her.
If you're looking for a program that builds not only great dancers but also great individuals, OKC Storm Dance is the place to be!

London, Class of '28
London has been dancing since she was two and competing since she was six. Like most dancers, we’ve experienced the ups and downs of dance life: late rehearsals, endless classes, and the continual critique from coaches and choreographers. But we’ve also celebrated incredible solo wins and unforgettable group performances.
Through it all, this year has been one of the best. It’s the year my child has felt truly seen, valued, and heard in a way that is often overlooked in the dance world. Inclusion is a core value in our family, and finding a space where she belongs especially in an environment that often compares dancers to a rigid ideal has been invaluable.
OKC Storm is that team.
If you’re looking for a place where your child will be encouraged, nurtured, supported, and held accountable in a loving way, this is it. From the very first tryout clinic, it was clear that this program is about more than just winning competitions. Coach J and Alicia see the whole girl, focusing not just on skills and routines but on building confidence, resilience, and character. They understand that the most important thing for a teenage girl is learning to rise above what the world says and to find strength within herself.

This has been, without a doubt, the most transformative and affirming dance experience of my child’s life. It will remain a core memory as she continues to grow into the incredible woman God has destined her to be.

Kiera, Class of '26
This season has not only been a season of growth in dance skill and technique, but it has really shown us what it’s like to be a part of a true dance family. I believe it takes more than just great skill to win a championship. It takes a team of champions who truly love each other and want everyone on the team to succeed.
Thank you to OKC Storm for loving and encouraging my daughter during her first year. She is looking forward to another amazing season with her dance family! - Belinda

Hannah, Class of '25
As a senior, making the decision to try a new team was a little scary. But after the first meeting with the coaches and seasoned Storm dancers, I knew I had made the right decision. They were and are very welcoming, caring, and accepting. Everyone’s goal is do better as a team and lift a sister up. When prayer/faith is added to the mix there is no way you’re going to fail! The coaches are nothing but the best, caring and dedicated to this team. I have to say this experience has been one of the best and has made my senior year nothing but perfect! I have made memories and friendships that I hope last a life time. Thank you for the best dance season I have ever had.

As a parent of a new Storm dancer - this season has been one of the easiest dance seasons I have had to deal with in comparison to our past years. This dance year with the Storm Pom team my daughter would come home crying about how happy she was to be on such a great, caring team! She would cry happy tears on a regular basis. The girls all got along and were very supportive of each other. Granted the work wasn’t always easy, but she put the time and effort in to be better to help her team succeed. Schedules were very organized, the communication was amazing! I love the open door policy with the coaches. Costumes were top notch too!
